Congrats to Kym, our Concert Superpass charity raffle winner 👏Kym will receive a double pass to each concert at the arena in 2024 PLUS a $1000 food and bev voucher 🎉🎫

Thanks to the generosity of West Australians, the raffle raised just over $56,000 for our long-time community partner, The Salvation Army WA. This amount equates to assisting over 2,000 people struggling through the cost-of-living crisis with emergency support.

RAC Arena ushered in a new era of its long-running charity raffle by introducing the Concert Superpass, which offers one lucky winner access to each concert taking place at the venue in 2024.

The Concert Superpass campaign ran over a 6-week period, with participants buying $10 raffle tickets to go into the draw to win two tickets to each concert next year, plus a $1000 food and beverage voucher for use during the prize period. This year’s lucky winner will be able to attend events such as 90’s icons TLC, and British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, as well as sold out performances by blink-182 and Matchbox Twenty.

This year’s campaign reached $56,140, which is being donated to the arena’s community partner, The Salvation Army, taking the total raised by the annual initiative to more than $645,000 since it’s inception in 2013.

Warren Palmer from The Salvation Army says the proceeds from the raffle equates to assisting over 2,000 people struggling through the cost-of-living crisis with emergency support.

Mr Palmer further explains, “We congratulate the winner of the Concert Superpass which will no doubt deliver memorable experiences over the next 12 months. The support that is provided through the Concert Superpass is a vital lifeline for The Salvation Army meeting the ever-increasing needs of West Australians doing it tough right now. Whether it is through support in financial hardship, homelessness or family violence, The Salvation Army’s ability to respond is significantly boosted through the generosity of the many who purchased tickets and our valued long term partner RAC Arena and Perth Rotary. We simply say, ‘thank you’ on behalf of all who have and will receive our support that will contribute to the health and well-being of their lives.”

RAC Arena’s General Manager Michael Scott goes on to add, “Now more than ever The Salvation Army are playing a pivotal role in supporting those in need within our community, and I can’t thank the people of WA enough for getting behind this year’s raffle. The funds raised will assist the organisation continuing their good work during these trying times, and we’re so proud of being able to provide a way to aid this cause. Congratulations to Kym, who is in for an action-packed year of music, and we look forward to celebrating such a wonderful birthday milestone with her over the next 12 months.”

This year’s winner, Kym Colotti, was very excited by the result, “I am thrilled that I have won a year’s worth of double passes to concerts at RAC Arena. What a perfect way to celebrate my year of turning 50. I am especially excited to see blink-182 and Matchbox Twenty perform live. It’s going to be an unforgettable year of music and celebration, and I can’t wait to experience it all!”
