Rotary Club of Perth president elect Wesley Sim had a traditional reunion dinner last night to mark Chinese New Year today.
The Claremont resident will take the reigns from President Stephen Inouye in July.
Mr Sim grew up in Singapore and joined Rotary 18 years ago.
