Join us to hear from Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds about her work to reduce modern slavery.

Modern slavery is a scourge on society, stripping individuals of their basic human rights and dignity. Senator Reynolds is a passionate campaigner both in Australia and internationally for anti-trafficking and anti-slavery measures. Having championed the Modern Slavery Act through Parliament in 2018, she now represents the Australian Parliament at the Inter-Parliamentary Union and serves as a co-rapporteur on orphanage trafficking. She is also an Australian member of the Interparliamentary Taskforce on Human Trafficking, based in Washington DC. While Australia can be proud of the progress made, there remains much work to be done.
