Jon Bilson is District 9455 Governor for 2020/21. Jon is a Past President, Youth Director and Secretary of the former Bay View Claremont Rotary Club. A country boy at heart, he is a relative newcomer to Rotary and joined largely due to Rotary’s Motto – Service above Self – something that is learnt at an early age in small rural communities.
A Business Psychologist by trade, Jon has worked in senior operational and project roles for the past 25 years. Given his qualifications, Jon has always had a keen interest in assisting organisations (big and small) in better managing their people and the challenge that change often brings to them.
Recognising Rotary was undergoing significant change, Jon decided to volunteer his time and professional expertise to work with others to chart a sustainable course and direction for District 9455 through 2020/21 and beyond.
With a background in Senior Management, Jon has worked as a Management Consultant for over 20 years and owns his own successful Perth based consulting business. Currently Jon sits on several not-for-profit Boards of organisations that are making a major contribution to improving the lives of Western Australians.
Jon and his fabulous and patient wife Michelle (a Senior Executive at Activ) have been married almost 27 years and have two wonderful adult children who have both been exposed to Rotary and its many opportunities for Youth development.
