The year is galloping by relentlessly and our commitments are mounting by the hour.

Which means, dear friends, we need to prioritise.   We have only six opportunities between now and the end of the year to commit to our Rotary meeting programme, and it would be excellent if you could attend as many as possible.

Our New Members - Programme information evening is this Thursday – tomorrow - at the Parmelia 5.30pm – 7.30pm.  This meeting gives us an opportunity to assist new members (and ourselves!) to understand what each of our groups actually does, and how we need to get involved with an aspect of Rotary life outside our meetings.  The booking link will remain open until 1pm on Thursday 18 November - https://www.trybooking.com/BUZZQ

Then on Friday 26 November the former Australian Test cricketer and Chair of the Australian Test selectors will join Trevor Jenkins for a conversation about the forthcoming Ashes series against England, the strengths of the two teams, the possible outcomes, and the general state of the game in general. This will be a popular occasion, so book early.  https://www.trybooking.com/BVABF

On Friday 3 December we will welcome St George’s Anglican School, now based in Wellington Street, as a Corporate Member.  Please sign up for this meeting.  We want our welcome to the School to be as fulsome and encouraging as possible.

The run-up to Christmas can get hectic and it’s easy to get swamped.  Please keep Rotary in your Calendar.  Our fellowship and our programmes are important for the quality of our participation in the life of the Club.

John.
