Rotarians and friends of Perth Rotary,
This week brings us to the last meeting for the year before the Presidents’ Changeover lunch of 26/6.
Considering the months that we spent with no fellowship and no physical Rotary meetings, I would strongly advise you not to miss the Presidents’ Changeover lunch, even if that means that you may have to readjust your work plan for that day.
The Presidents’ Changeover is not about the President but about the Members and the Club. Especially when considering the challenges we were confronted with this year and the dreadful news that bombarded us daily from every corner of the world, we should be thankful for being in good health and living in one of the safest places in the world: Western Australia. We should also be thankful to all those members who have made Perth Rotary big and we should acknowledge these members.
I am inviting you to join us in this celebration of life and achievements on 26/6 and to show your support to the new Board and our new President. Hopefully the new Rotary year will not hide surprises and rough seas but no matter what the new year will bring, Perth Rotary has just proved that it can safely sail with any type of weather.
In the Changeover lunch we will present the highlights and the achievements of 2019-2020, we will recognise the members who overperformed and delivered Service Above Self and of course we will listen to the fabulous announcement for the new Rotary Year by the new President Jill Dawson!
