The inaugural Business Breakfast Club meeting of Perth Rotary on Friday 9th August was a great success.

Graham Peden, Very Rev. John, Vangelis Katsaitis, Jill Dawson, Larry Hirsch, Rob Rose, Joseph Wambua, Julian Heng, Jamie MacKenzie and another 41 members and guests joined the Business Breakfast Club at the Hilton yesterday morning in a meeting full of learning and energy! 
 
The "Talking Business Session", featured Stuart MacAlpine, Non Executive Director Wide Open Agriculture, who shared his experience in taking a public company through the case study of the successful IPO of WOA last year. He  also present the point of difference of WOA in the mature  market of agriculture.   
 
The Treasurer's Minute, which will be delivered in every Business Breakfast Club meeting by the Treasurer of Perth Rotary, included all the latest news and the economic highlights that affect the business world locally and globally. This Friday, Joseph Wambua made special reference to the interesting combination of the low interest rates with the thriving ASX performance in a slow economy.

Last Friday's inaugural BBC meeting will also include the induction of Dr. Julian Heng to Perth Rotary. Dr. Heng has received international recognition and awards and he is currently associate Professor at Curtin University  and Group Leader at the Curtin Neuroscience Laboratories.    

Rotary Means Business, the business fellowship of District 9455 will provided updates about the most recent activity and their forthcoming plans through their Chairman PP Larry Hirsch.
