On the evening of Friday 25thOctober 2019, UNAAWA will be awarding local champions achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing the community and featuring local talents.

The theme for this year is in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the International Labor Organization (ILO) which is Advancing Social Justice and Promoting Decent Work. The UN Day will be honoring Western Australians who have made a special contribution to Education, Human Rights, Gender Equality, the Environment and Young Professionals. It will be a public event that focuses on celebrating and embracing multiculturalism in WA.

We have planned an exciting evening of entertainment, speeches, awards ceremony including a 3 course meal. Our UNAAWA Patron The Honorable Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia will be present, as well as the Hon. Minister Papalia, the Minister of Tourism for WA.

As many of the Rotary International Goals are aligned with the UN SDG`s and we have an established partnership and friendship with the Rotary Club of Perth and Rotary District 9455, we would love rotary members and the district to join this event.

Tickets are  on sale via eventbrite, see below.
